Guild Name: Martial Sealing Sect
Guild Description: A tale spun many times over, each with their own spin. A legend like many others, a story that gives a nice meaning at the end. However, this story has not yet ended, no nice meaning to be heard. The story of those who'm bend themselves around the art of Dao, releasing their inhibitions and allowing themselves to harness their very soul in to a malleable form, those who truly deserve the name of Daoist!
These people are rare to encounter, a single group remained, left to endlessly stroll in despair and pity. A name that once brought even the greatest leader to their knees, begging for forgiveness. They are known as the Martial Sealing Sect, a group of individuals who's name now causes others to scratch their head in confusion. In the small written information available it seems as if the Sect was founded by a man of the name Meng, one who'm could hold the title of Immortal. Sect Techniques, recorded in scrolls, have survived within the ruins of the once mighty group. That is until one boy who aspired to be a Shinobi, similar to those of his age, stumbled upon the ruins outside their village of Sunagakure. Buried in the sand that they once would be able to blow away with a simple thought. A sad thought. His name isn't well known, only known to few by the name Meng Yao, a boy who inherited the bloodline of that once great man.
The history of the Sect along with Jade Tablets showcasing various techniques littered the area. A time period of ten years went by with no recorded history of Meng Yao's endeavors. This was until his name caused stirring within the great villages. A lost group, lost potential for greatness, suddenly surfaced in the form of this young adult! Many documents tell the tale of the Sects growth within a year. However, keeping such good fortune for one sect was surely dancing with the devil. In a night, the Sect was thrown in to disarray. The streets were painted red, the sky blotted out by vast groups of Shinobi descending on the group. Meng Yao seemed to escape the slaughter. However, from this point, his name no longer covered the newspaper, no one talked about the Martial Sealing Sect. It had simply been destroyed, along with everyone's minding of the group. From this point, Meng Yao silently cultivated his Spiritual Sense, dawning a new look in the recently reconstructed Konoha. He kept his name, refusing to sully his ancestors names by disregarding it. In but a year, he had passed in to the rank of Chuunin, ascending thereafter to Jounin. This is when he decided that he'd rebuild the Sect, under his watchful eye and the protection of Konoha, he dared others to attempt what they had those many years ago!
Guild Purpose: The purpose of this guild is to introduce a new type of Fighter to the table, a Daoist. If I'm able to create my vision then these new fighters will be versatile and fun to Roleplay. The Sect is being created in order to begin others 'cultivation' in the techniques I shall be apping for as well.
Organizational Hierarchy:
Rank 1: Sect Leader. There is only one person who is able to hold this rank at any one given time. They run the Sect, obviously, and are in charge of distribution for things such as resources, weaponry and techniques.
Rank 2: Conclave Disciple: These are the Disciples deemed to be far about the rest, the epitome of students within the Sect. They receive the Stronger techniques along with personal training from the Sect Leader.
Rank 3: Inner Disciple: These are the Disciples who climbed up from the Outer Disciple rank through a test run by the Sect Leader. They are eligible for training with the Sect Leader in groups of three.
Rank 4: Outer Disciple: These are fresh Disciples, those who haven't earned personal or group training from the Sect Leader. The Outer Disciples are all trained at once by a Conclave Disciple. If there are no Conclave Disciples then the Sect Leader will give pointers to the group.
Perks/Incentives: I wish to create a T1 to T4 Perk based on the Manipulation of ones Soul, rather then Chakra. They are able to use both Chakra and their Soul. Soul Techniques are what I'll be applying for so those who don't train under the Sect will not be able to learn them. These techniques are fundamentally different from Jutsu as they are not categorized, rather open in what they are able to do. These techniques range from Flame Pythons to Pill Condensation. A large list of Techniques are coming. It's clear that allowing people to simply get a range of Techniques through one perk tree along is rather idiotic. That's why I'll be adding a few trees such as: Pill Creation, Soul Power and Beast Control.
I have not brought up Beasts prior to this. One of the abilities of those with the use of Dao is to take some Physical Attributes from a certain creature, generally one who's powerful. If one were to fuse with a Rabbit then they may be able to jump a little higher. However, if one were to attract good fortune and fuse with say a Demonic Beast then they would grow in both size and power, along with having abilities tailored specifically to the animal they fuse with. Generally, Daoists may only fuse with one Creature. Only with T4 Beast Control would one be able to hold a second beast. If they are to let a beast out of their soul realm in order to fuse with another then they'd never be allowed to create a link with the animal they released.
